The successful applicant will possess strong expertise in exploration or development roles that include well planning and operations. You will have a successful track record of preparing well prognoses with uncertainties and securing management approvals. Experience of planning and overseeing well data acquisition programs is required, including wireline and LWD logging, pressure and fluid sampling, VSP, coring, and SCAL. Basic log interpretation skills including GR, Resistivity, Sonic, Density, Caliper, NMR, image logs, mud gas, and shows are also required.
The successful applicant will work within a multi-disciplinary team, and have the ability to develop strong leads, generate prospects, and mature these prospects. Suitable applicants will have advanced Seismic interpretation abilities, and Clastic and/or Carbonate seismic stratigraphy skills. Other requirements include strong ability in generation and use of seismic attribute analysis for lithology, porosity and fluid type prediction. You will have experience of visualization and integration of various G&G datasets, and Chrono stratigraphy, and knowledge of in depth conversion, and generation of multiple scenarios based on sound velocity models. The successful applicant will work within a multi-disciplinary team to interpret seismic data both on regional and prospect scales in different tectonic regimes with 2D and 3D seismic data. The candidate should have thorough practical knowledge of seismic data acquisition and processing and must know all the limitations and pitfalls as a geophysicist.
Department is now actively seeking a Development and Operations Geologist. The successful applicant will conduct reservoir characterization on clastic and/or carbonate reservoirs, and perform G&G data integration for geological models. You will provide well operation support through well planning, placement, monitoring and geosteering with minimal supervision.
