**Contract and Procurement Specialist**
My client, a Global Oil & Gas Operator are looking for a Contract and Procurement Specialist to perform services within Contract and Procurement (C&P) by providing support to the Project Team in all matters relating to Procurement for services performed in Europe and Tanzania.
Duration: 1 Year (Potential Extension)
Location: Initially Europe and thenTanzania
Start: February 2018
Status: Residential
Job Tasks:
* To ensure a proper execution of the Purchase Process.
* To receive requests or scope of work from technical entities, clarify on agree on bidder lists.
* To use Market Intelligence, Cost Model, target price to prepare the strategy.
* To perform expediting activities to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet deadlines.
* To establish corresponding contractual purchase order.
* To ensure all purchased equipment and materials comply with safety rules and standards and no major defects are identified per inspection terms or PO.
* To contribute to C&P reporting as per the project requirement.
Technical Requirements:
* Must have extensive experience in a procurement position in the Oil & Gas industry.
* Degree in Quantity Serveying, Law, Commercial or Engineering is preferred.
* Familiar with oil industry equipment.
* Knowledge of the C&P process.
* Fluent in English, knowledge of French language would be preferred.
* IT Proficient. |
