 Job Description
**Contracts and Procurement Methods Engineer**

My client, a global Oil & Gas Operator, are looking for a Contracts and Procurement Methods Engineer to join them in Europe and then in Tanzania, to provide support to the Contract and Procurement (C&P) team in Methods and Tools.



Location: Initially Europe and then Tanzania
Duration: 1 year (with potential extension)
Status: Residential
Start Date: Early 2018



Job Tasks:

* To be responsible and provide support to C&P Team in all matters relating to methods/procedures and tools to contribute to deliver the project in time, in budget and in accordance with HSE standards.
* To have and develop knowledge and observance of the companies HSE policy, rules and procedures.
* To ensure that the HSE clauses are well implemented in C&P documents and Contractor HSE performance is followed up systematically.
* To initiate, organise, update and support the C&P Team in implementing C&P procedures.
* To analyse the procurement process and identify opportunities for improvement.
* To ensure and control consistency with procedures and their respect by users.
* To organise, structure and control the documentation function of the C&P entity.

Technical Requirements:

* Extensive C&P experience, with comprehensive knowledge of the procurement process and tools, good capacity communicating and planning.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Commercial or Engineering is preferred.
* Extensive experience dealing with Contractors within the Oil & Gas industry.
* Must be flexible with relocation.
