|
**Procurement Package Manager**
My client, an Offshore Oil & Gas Company, are looking for a Procurement Package Manager. They will be at the front-line of the Supply Chain activities within the project and responsible for delivering the package to meet project requirements in terms of safety, budget, schedule and quality.
Location: Monaco
Duration: 9-12 Months, Full Time
Start Date: ASAP
Reporting to: Package Management Department Manager and Project Procurement Manager
Job Tasks:
* Understand the technical requirements of the package, in this case valves, by liaising with Package Engineer (PKE) accordingly.
* Set-up the package by collecting lessons learned, multi-disciplinary input and defining package gates and planning accordingly.
* Develop the Package Procurement Strategy in accordance with Project Procurement Strategy (PPS).
* To ensure that package execution achieves the expected level of quality, while reducing the risk of increased cost and delay.
* Manage the package interface with the vendor during PO execution.
* Ensure that vendors activities are managed in line with project priorities.
* Develop vendor quality awareness and ensure that quality controls are performed during vendor manufacturing process.
* Provide Vendor Managers, Category Managers, Sourcing Managers with continuous feedback.
* Ensure continuous improvement and package learning by sharing package best practices.
* Perform timely and complete package hand over and close out.
Technical Requirements:
* Fluent spoken and written English.
* Flexible and adaptable to react to operational changes.
* Leadership and proactive behaviour.
* Extensive experience of technical procurement with track records in managing successful packages.
* Experience of sourcing steel items/or valve items. |
