Job Description
Mechanical Project Engineer - Waste to Energy Our Client is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for a waste to energy plant in Birmingham. This £54m cap-ex project will burn refuse derived fuel which is subject to a strict environmental permit.
Responsibilities:
* Management of specialist mechanical and process suppliers throughout design process * Review/checking of all design input from specialist suppliers * Interface with other disciplines throughout design process * Preparation of bid packages for mechanical contractors * Review of contractor bids in conjunction with commercial team * Management of mechanical and process sub-contractors
Candidate Profile:
* Mechanical Engineering degree * At least 5 years' experience working in engineering role * Experience of both design and construction
This is a Permanent position to be based in either Dublin or London, until May 2018. Where the role will then continue to Birmingham. Where you will need to be flexible to travel between site and office as and when necessary.
