**Senior Contract Advisor**
Our client is looking for a Senior Contract Advisor to join them in their Kingston office in London on a permanent basis.
Location: Kingston Upon Thames
Duration: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Job Requirements:
* Review and qualify or draft different types of contracts, including, but not limited to: Engineering, Construction, Transportation and Installation Contracts and associated Confidentiality Agreements.
* Manage the workload in coordination with Tendering and Commercial function, collecting the inputs from the other function, especially Insurance, Tax and Finance;
* Prepare Contract Summaries and draft Conformity Reports on project specific basis;
* Participate in meetings (with internal clients and with potential external clients, partners and subcontractors), taking notes and preparing summaries and/or Minutes of Meeting;
* Negotiate the contractual instruments with the counterparties in the best interests of the Company and in accordance with Company risk policies;
* During execution phase of the projects ability to drive claims strategies and strategic processes forward with regard to contract and claims management.
* Perform legal research;
* Draft legal instruments;
* Excellent knowledge of the industries standard forms of contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, BIMCO etc...)
* Assist all Company function with legal and contractual in coordination with the relevant corporate functions.
Technical Requirements:
* Extensive experience in Contract Management/Advisory/Negotiation/Reviews/Drafting/Qualifying/Claims strategies/Claims Management.
* Successful candidate should have experience in administering various types of Contracts, in accordance with the rules and regulations specified in the contract, as well as corporate policies and procedures.
* The Contracts Advisor should also possess excellent written and oral communication skills, customer relations, attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Strict attention to detail and clear communication.
* Strong knowledge of contracts administration, subcontract administration and related disciplines. |
