SENIOR PROCUREMENT ENGINEER
My client, a global Oil and Gas Operator, are looking for a Senior Procurement Engineer to work for them in Paris.
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Paris
Start Date: March 2018
Rate: Negotiable
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Preparation for for purchasing management - maintain economic, technological, and competitive intelligence.
* Propose new suppliers and follow the current panel of suppliers.
* Participate in the drafting and evolution of standard contracts and the improvement of the reference system.
* Participate in drafting pre-consultation and tendering files on high-stakes topics and manage the drafting of pre-consultation and tender documents on topics of limited scope.
* Lead directly, or assist, the sites in the negotiations of orders and contracts.
* Draft the contracts in compliance with the procedures and rules of operation.
* Monitor and improve the performance of purchases.
* Prepare supplier performance reviews and participate in their evaluation.
* Inform and follow suppliers and specifiers on subcontracting policy, safety, quality and environment.
* Independently ensure the proper execution of purchasing actions in order to optimise costs.
* Coordinate and ensure the proper development of purchasing procedures whilst advising and assisting the buyers of branches. |
