SENIOR PROJECT COST CONTROLLER
One of our clients, a global Oil & Gas Operator, are looking for a Senior Project Cost Controller to work for them in Paris.
Start Date: March 2018
Duration: 6 months (renewable)
Location: Paris
Status: Resident
Job Requirements:
* Prepare the cost control procedure for the project.
* Forecast accurately during the project the Final Cost estimate
* Analyse the main EPC contracts and liaise with the contract engineers in order to insure a proper Cost Breakdown structure.
* Promote innovation as far as compatible with good enough approach for all activities. to seek optimisation and savings all along the different phases of the project. to focus on costs without impairing QHSE objectives.
* Prepare the cost breakdown structure for all coming projects. Ensure that the Cost Breakdown structure is in line with the Work Breakdown structure.
* In liaison with the Contract Engineer and Package Manager, challenge the CO from the contractors.
* In liaison with the with the Package Manager and Construction Manager, follow the productivity provided by the construction manager during the erection phase and anticipate the over/under expenditure linked with the productivity.
* Ensure that all invoices submitted by the contractors are accurate and in line with the physical progress.
Accountabilities:
* Ensure that the Cost Control of the project is done under best practices.
* Ensure that the Final Cost Estimate of the projects is accurate.
* Provide support to Package Manager.
* Provide support to the projects.
Technical Requirements:
* Engineering Degree - or similar
* Extensive experience in Cost Control
* Estimation experience/experience in project planning |
