|
CONTRACT ENGINEER
Our client, a global Oil & Gas Operator, is looking for a Contract Engineer within their Aircraft Category Team. You will be responsible for managing the centralised Call for Tenders (CFTs) supporting the companies global operations.
The Contract Engineer will be supporting the E&P activities within the Logistics domain, within rotating wings (helicopters) and fixed wings (planes).
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Paris, France
Start Date: July 2018
Rate: Negotiable
Job Requirements:
* Definition and preparation of CFT/contract strategies.
* Procure services for the companies specified affiliates.
* To prepare CFT documents, manage the CFT, evaluate and clarify tenders, negotiate contractual and commercial terms with bidders, issue recommendations to award and submit them to Management.
* To draft and issue Contracts at the best price and shortest delivery time, in compliance with the company and Affiliate governance and commitment and procurement procedures.
* To ensure all procurement activities are carried out on competitive terms that are consistent with the requirements of the business and the Affiliate's legal and contractual obligations.
* Preparation and presentations of Strategy and Recommendation to Award (RTA) to Contracts Committee or other governance function as required.
* Preparation of all required documentation to be presented to Partners and Local Authorities.
* Ensure that the companies contractual policies and Applicable Law and regulations are adhered to, especially related to ethics and transparency.
* Manage potential claims with Contractors.
* Propose and work on any contracts optimization initiative (working methods, procedures updates…).
* Preparation contract templates and C&P policies.
* Actively participate to the realization of C&P objectives and provide Return on Experience (REX) at the end of the process.
Job Requirements:
* Contracts & Procurement (C&P) is key for an exploration campaign or project to ensure compliance with planning. Lack of or untimely delivery of the required services, whatever its value, may have important financial and planning consequences.
* This position requires strong autonomy, pro-activity, availability, organization and methodology. Good interpersonal relationships with internal and external entities are an important factor for success.
* A good understanding of global markets and suppliers, along with local support, enables prudent choices for purchasing. |
