PSCM CATEGORY SPECIALIST - PROJECTS
(CONSTRUCTION SERVICES)
Our client, a multinational Oil & Gas company, are looking for a PSCM Category Specialist(Projects) to join them in Sunbury-on-Thames.
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Sunbury-on-Thames
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: Negotiable
The role of PSCM Category Specialist reports to the Category Team Leader, for Construction Services. The activity supports all sourcing activities, from the development of Strategy & Bid Lists, and subsequent RFP preparation, including the development of Evaluation Criteria, and the negotiation and placement of Contracts. Post Contract Management and Supplier Management activities shall be executed through established processes.
Job Requirements:
* Support the Category Lead and communicate openly with Stakeholders to ensure alignment and ownership of PSCM activities. * Drive the demand planning to facilitate the achievement of the Annual Work Plan & Budget goals. * Works alongside the Cost Team to deliver robust cost management of Contracts to reduce risk through rigorous contract management. * Undertakes due diligence in mitigating external supply risk * Supports the development of long term Strategies to maximise value and efficiency for the business. * Prepare all necessary RFP and Contract documentation for issue through ARIBA OneSource and all subsequent clarifications and Supplier communications. * Apply appropriate local contracting templates and work with Stakeholders to define and develop Scopes of Work and associated Evaluation criteria. * Undertake Contract Management activities including the issuing of Call Offs, and support invoice queries and any dispute resolution as required. * Maintain accurate records in MAXIMO and ARIBA of all sourcing events and Contracting activities to ensure compliance and cost recovery. * Perform Counter-party Due Diligence checks * Support Internal and External Audits as required * Prepare Recommendation for Award (RFA) for approval by relevant Governance Board and ensure timely execution and implementation of Award Recommendations.
Technical Requirements:
* University degree or equivalent * MCIPS or equivalent professional PSCM qualification * Strong understanding and experience of Projects based Contracts * Track record of successful PSCM delivery in complex, challenging international environments and Joint Ventures working with NOC's * Analytical abilities including marketplace and financial analysis * Strong Ms Word, Excel skills * Strong ARIBA and MAXIMO skills * Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal clients |
