Who:

We are a leading international engineering company, specialising in assembly systems of industrial plants. We provide bespoke solutions to the needs of our extensive customer base, from start-up through to post-build services. For this role, we are partnering with Airswift, a global leader in workforce solutions.



The Position:

Management and organization of plant start-up in Italy and abroad, through to delivery to the customer. The activities to be carried out by the applicant are related to the commissioning of a complex industrial plant. Commissioning and delivery to the customer to be in compliance with times, costs and safety of the site, in order to obtain - together with the Project Manager - the plant acceptance. You will be expected to coordinate autonomously the activities under your management, interfacing correctly with the customer, the suppliers and with the office colleagues (Project Manager, Project Leader, Process Manager). Taking charge of safety procedure and providing the appropriate reports from this. Coordination with direct responsibility of external companies; 2/3 "site supervisors", alongside direct responsibility of skilled technicians.



Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):



* Commissioning and startup of automatic lines for complete paint-shop in automotive and general industry, including:

* Wet systems: chemical pretreatment for surfaces, spray and dip concept.
* Drying and curing convection ovens, air heaters.
* Spray booth for paint application, working areas.
* Conveyor lines with automatic transfer, loading, unloading. Manipulation robots.
* HVAC, air handling and distribution.
* Media generation and distribution (Hot water, chilled water, compressed air, etc.).

* Functionality tests, instruments calibration, devices set-up, adjustments for optimization.
* Supported by software commissioning engineers: automation test and optimization.
* Management and coordination of commissioning team for third part devices and plants.
* Communication with customer for test scheduling, commissioning punch list management, training of customer personnel.
* Progress reports calibration reports, lesson learned documents.



You must have:

* 5/7 years in a similar position, possibly in plant painting system.
* Significant management experience.
* English mother tongue or similar; Good level of Italian will be really appreciated; German will be a plus.
* Personal qualities such as being a pro-active problem solver, and dynamic/flexible.
* Excellent organisation & communication skills. There will be significant customer interaction.
