SENIOR COST CONTROLLER
Our client, an active company in the design engineering and construction sectors within The Netherlands, and worldwide implementation of process plants and units in the Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical and Offshore industry, are looking for a Senior Cost Controller in Zoetermeer.
Duration: 6 months renewable
Location: Zoetermeer, Netherlands
Rate: Negotiable
Start Date: August 2018
Job Requirements:
The Senior Cost Controller is aware and cares for Health, Safety & Environmental aspects during daily actions, and drives HSE performance throughout project and or internal/external services activities.
* Responsible for the cost control for projects of various sizes/types in the petrochemical and refinery sector.
* Prepare all required project cost reports for monthly management review
* Prepare/estimate all project changes orders
* Provide feedback to estimating on project close-out and update historical databases and tools on a continuous basis
Specific Tasks:
* Setup of cost report based on As Sold price sheet
* Maintaining and updating the cost report with budgets, actual / committed costs, forecasts for hours, materials, construction, other charges/expenses and revenues
* Preparation and maintaining of various documents and reports such as hedging reports, cash flow curves, sourcing list for financed projects, change orders and registers, procurement hardware budgets
* Preparation of Project Management Reports (PMR) with consolidated information such as : costs, hours, QA/QC, HSE, planning, financial status (invoicing, treasury), contract details and general comments by the Project Manager
* Consulting with and advising the Project Manager on the cost status of the project and jointly agreeing and issuing of the PMR for management review
* Interacting with the project team to have available all relevant information required for referenced tasks and forecasting
* Preparation of project specific analysis, feedback and close-out information for Estimating and historical data
* Participate in developing and maintain departmental tools, procedures and databases
* Training & mentoring of new/junior cost controllers
Education and Experience:
* Minimal Technical College, preferable Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Work experience:
* Extensive experience in Cost Control at a Senior level
* Language: Fluent in English |
