Our client is looking for a Kenyan National, Local Content Advisor, to work for them in Nairobi on a Crude Oil Pipeline Project.
Duration: 12 months Location: Nairobi, Kenya Rate: Negotiable Start Date: September 2018
Overview:
* The Local Content Advisor will be responsible for working with the Technical teams as well as FEED contractors to ensure an optimised local content plan is available to meet Government of Kenya as well as Turkana County Government Local Content requirements. * Responsible for identifying and getting business cases agreed for opportunities to promote local content - these will range from formal capacity building to how certain work can be contracted for. * Support the Local Content Manager in Kenya on required engagement on the prospective Local Content Regulations in Kenya as well as other capacity building initiatives. * Report to the Local Content Manager in Nairobi and although will be based in Nairobi will be required to travel regularly to work with the teams in London and Turkana.
