Our client, an Oil and Gas Operating Company are looking for an Aviation Operations Supervisor to be based in their offices in Dakar, Senegal. The role is offered with a long-term contract and a negotiable monthly salary.
Job Overview:
As Aviation Operations Supervisor you'll be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable and compliant Aviation Operations through efficient long and medium-term planning of all aviation related resources
Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain Aviation Operations competency framework and capacity in the region and assume local responsibility as "onsite" Aviation "Job-Rep" in all aspects of managing day-to-day Aviation planning, prioritisation, contingency, routine and emergency operations
* Ensure safe, reliable and compliant Crew Change Operations through efficient long- and medium-term planning of all logistics related resources
* Establish and maintain Crew Transfer Operations competence framework and capacity in the region in all aspects of managing planning, prioritisation, contingency and routine Crew Change operations
* Manage administration support provided by IT and Passenger Tracking Systems, for POB, Survival Equipment, Aircraft Freight and all movements
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Ideally have a degree or diploma within a related subject
* Extensive experience within Aviation Technical planning and operations management experience with a good background in Aviation Safety Management
* Experience with high-risk contractors, aviation safety deliverables and contractor performance management would be beneficial
* Must be fluent in English
* French Language skills will be beneficial |
