Airswift are in search of a 'Fire Engineer' for our client based in Manchester, at the earliest opportunity.
Our client has been a leading international fire engineering consultancy, since they were established. With fire engineering as the core discipline, they provide fully integrated fire engineering solutions and consultancy services in: Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Safety Management and Fire Expert Witness.
They are recognized globally by developers, leading architectural firms, private companies and public sector organizations.
Key responsibilities
* Working with prominent clients to generate and evaluate innovative fire solution strategies.
* Leading the project-delivery, liaising with clients and enforcing authorities and preparing tenders for fire consultancy.
* Creating programs of work; attend site visits and assist with implementation of quality control procedures.
About you
* Willing to work towards CEng.
* At least 2 years post graduate experience & degree qualification is desirable.
* Experience in a client- facing role which includes project delivery.
* Confident in liaising with design teams, clients, local approving authorities, contractors and other third parties.
* Working knowledge of building codes including: ADB, BS5588, BS7974, BB100 and HTM.
