 Job Description
Role

Contributing member of a multi-disciplined team responsible for providing critical operations input to detailed design, construction, commissioning of the CCR, and start up of the facilities. Responsible for the mentoring and training of staff in their relevant discipline.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years' experience as production/operation/engineering technician or equivalent. Good level of basic education, especially Maths and Science (Physics), computer literate.
* Well-developed fault finding capabilities. Good communication and organisation skills. Extensive knowledge of control room equipment. Awareness and commitment to XXXX environmental expectations
* A recognised process apprenticeship would be desirable but not essential. English language, spoken and written
* Well-developed interpersonal and coaching/training skills, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision and strong sense of team involvement

Work Site Activity

* Support specific elements of the Operations Readiness Plan delivery, with particular focus on development, training, and competency of CRTs.
* Participate in testing of procedures on operations simulator.
* Participate in FATs on relevant equipment.
* Participate in engineering reviews, including LOPA, HAZOP and HAZID, and control scheme verification
* Support HUC activities
* Provide technical assurance for work carried out.
* Provide effective cover of control room duties.
* Other responsibilities as described for Control Room Technician once project transitions to Operate Phase

Communication and Information

* Informs leadership of any emergent risks to continued safe, reliable and compliant commissioning activity
* Active participation in safety briefings and pre-job safety talks
* Provide quality information concerning aspects of work and equipment to supervisor and colleagues, through conversation, telephone, radio and written reports.

Emergency Response

* The post holder will be expected to perform Emergency Response duties as defined in the ERP and company standards, and train National staff to meet these standards

Environment

* Maintaining and operating equipment to minimise potential for fugitive losses and accidental oil/chemical spills.
* Disposing of wastes to contribute to site objectives and targets for waste handling and reduction.
* Ensure work is carried out in compliance with XXXX HSE Policy, EMS requirements and operating procedures
* Ensure EMS implementation in compliance to ISO 14001 standard

Coaching and Developing Staff

* Understanding of XXXX culture.
* Provide proactive input to training programme to ensure all aspects of national technician development are met.
* Actively encourage technician development over and above core skills.
* Provide regular feedback to line management regarding trainee progress and requirements
