|
Purpose of the service
In a predominantly Offshore context, you will perform the following tasks:
* Write and optimize the technical specifications in compliance with the constraints related to the contractual aspects of the project.
* Coordinate interface meetings with partners to limit interference between cathodic protection systems.
* Realization of detailed studies including calculation notes, installation plans, design and construction standards.
* Establish the quantities and describe the changes.
* Prepare requisitions for consultation material, technical comparative tables, requisitions for purchase material and attend the kick-off meeting with the Supplier.
* Validate the documentation issued by the Supplier in compliance with the planning requirements of the project.
* Written, monthly report sent to the service manager summarizing the main activities of the past month.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Mastering the specificities of cathodic protection systems for submerged structures (eg FPSO, FPI, Jetty, internal storage tanks) and / or the specificities of underground metal structures (eg tank bottoms, pipes).
- Mastery of the know-how:
- International norms and standards related to the discipline.
- Understand the constraints of other project disciplines.
- Cathodic protection techniques, their field and application limits.
- Techniques for measurement, control and verification of cathodic protection systems.
- Techniques and methods for starting cathodic protection systems.
- Modeling techniques for seawater protection systems.
- Control of applicable codes (ISO, EN, NACE and ASTM).
- Mastery of written communication in English.
- Nace Level 3 certification or equivalent for the "Sea" or "Land" sector would be a plus. |
