Our client, an international EPC Company are looking for a Project Control Engineer to be based in their offices in Paris, France. The position is offered with a September 2019 start, renewable 6 month contract and negotiable daily rate or monthly salary.
Job Overview:
As Project Control Engineer you'll be responsible for supporting the Project Manager to drive planning and cost control.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure that the planning, costs, resources are identified in liaison with all members of the team.
* Overall view of all phases of the project as well that a fine understanding of all activities.
* Anticipates the excesses in terms of costs and planning and proposes to the Project Manager a draft action plans to ensure project objectives.
* Propose preventive or corrective measures aimed at control or anticipate costs and planning
* Ensure the consideration and validation of forecasting costs and planning by stakeholders
* Prepare and update monthly reporting elements
* Ensure that the project review steps and Gates are planned and realized,
Experience:
* Ideally have a degree within Engineering or related subject
* Experience gained as a Cost Engineer, Planning Engineer or Project Control Engineer within an EPC project
* Experience of using Primavera P6 will be beneficial
* French language skills would be advantageous |
