Our client, an international EPC Company are looking for a Piping Material Coordinator to be based in their offices in Paris, France. The position is offered with a negotiable all-inclusive rate and a long term contract
Job Overview:
As Piping Material Coordinator you'll be responsible for analysis of Material needs and availability versus Construction sequence and needs.
Responsibilities:
* Project status and coordination:
* Propose solution(s) to fit the schedule, liaise with Transport team accordingly
* Identify Critical material for proper expediting and follow-up
* Identify alternative when critical material missing
* Liaise / coordinate with Yard Material Manager as necessary
* Prepare required reports by the Project;
* Attend QCS recurrent meetings called by PPM, with the attendance of Transport Manager & Expeditors, as far as necessary.
* Analyze QCS documents such as Expediting Report, Flash report, Inspection report, as distributed within the Project.
Experience:
* Extensive experience gained as a Material Controller within the Oil and Gas industry
* Ideally have worked on Oil and Gas Construction Projects with a focus on Piping discipline
* Experience within expediting would be beneficial |
