| Job Description |
|
The Client are a leading EPC who have been awarded the contract on a €400 million ($460 million) multi-step investment plan, based in the South East of Finland. This is the first location for a battery materials production hub serving the European automotive market.
Interface / Project Engineer
Role requirements:
* Has held interface / project engineer roles in the past
* experience in leading and coordinating multidiscipline engineering team and in working as a link between engineering and site teams
* experienced in project management, design, construction and commissioning
* Fluent in English (and Finnish) both verbal and written
* used to reporting and communicating in English
* good interpersonal and communication skills
* 10 years of experience in international / industrial projects
* Based here on site, but travel to other Finland offices as required
Typical tasks:
* Chasing / expediting the IFC drawings in priority sequence
* Highlighting where any "holds" may exist from the engineering team, so that here at site we can give engineering Clear, Concise Instructions on releasing the hold and/or a work around
* Close liaison with engineering teams in Finland, Germany and China
* Field based focal point for the Management of Project Change (MoPC) procedure
* Ensure subcontractors are not held up / delayed
* Instigator / author of any required Site Instructions (authorised by the Project Director)
* Interface with equipment vendors and our Shanghai team
* Coordinate all the red line / as builts, via Shanghai |
