Senior Planning Manager

We are currently looking for a Senior Planning Manager.
Responsibilities and Tasks:

    To work with the functional and senior management teams to provide a complete planning solution across all Aker Solutions MMO activities
    To coordinate planning function across all Aker Solutions MMO activities, through the provision, supervision and development of personnel and system
    Support the strategic goals of the business through establishment of effective planning and reporting tools and methods
    Development, maintenance and implementation of relevant processes, systems and procedures to meet information and reporting requirements
    Build effective planning function serving and providing the necessary skills for EPC and modification workscope planning
    Build effective planning function serving and providing the necessary skills for Operations, Maintenance and Integrated Asset Planning
    Provide planning input in support of proposals and tenders, including the development of risk techniques to assist management commercial assessment
    Ensure planning group input to the development of akimsTM, PEM and other project operating systems
    Identifying relevant areas within the project execution process that need improvement and proposing improvement projects to rectify any problems identified
    Be accountable for the planning group whilst providing necessary support to team members including coaching/mentoring, performance reviews and technical assistance


Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

    Educated to HND essential
    Educated to Degree level preferred
    In depth understanding of the oil and gas industry
    Highly competent user of industry standard planning tools ( e.g. Primavera P6) / systems
    Demonstrable construction and commissioning experience in brownfield modifications contracts and projects
    Knowledge and understanding of latest relevant technical developments and best practice within the industry
    Leadership of multi-discipline team
    Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively within the organisation and with external clients / customers
    Proactive, flexible and decisive, ability to be innovative and challenging in line with Company Value
    An ability to build strong, effective working relationships across the delivery streams will be essential
