Our client, an international Oil and Gas Operating Company are looking for a Contracts and Procurement Methods Engineer to be based in Paris, France. The position will be offered with 12 - 24 Month contract and a negotiable daily or Monthly Salary
Job Overview:
As Contracts and Procurement Methods Engineer you'll be responsible for providing reliable information on suppliers thereby increasing the efficiency of C&P and participate in the development of the set of preferred suppliers
Responsibilities:
* Organize, update and assist the C&P Manager and C&P Director in implementing referential procedures and the Company Rules relating to procurement activities
* Analyze the procurement process and identify improvements opportunities
* Ensure consistency of C&P referential and Develop supplier pre-qualification processes
* Develop a reference supplier database its respect by users
* Ensure definition and implementation of an integrated C&P reporting process
* Ensure C&P weekly, monthly and annual reporting
* Participate or ensure SAP deployment or upgrade regarding MM (link with Finance department, Technical Entities...), facilitate the transition and the use of SAP for procurement matters
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Ideally have a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in a relevant subject
* Extensive experience within Contracts and Procurement
* Experience working on Onshore LNG development projects will be beneficial |
