Our client, an international Oil and Gas Operating Company are looking for a Senior Contracts Engineer - Logistics to be based in Maputo, Mozambique. The position will be offered with a 12 - 24 month contract on a Residential basis with; Accommodation, local travel and flights to home location provided.
Job Overview:
As Senior Contracts Engineer you will be responsible for producing contractual documents according to company procedure and ethics and providing a quality, cost-effective and time efficient contracts service to Technical entities.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the your counterpart to create the contracts dossier, Develop a clear definition of contractual responsibilities
* Validation of contracts strategy
* Negotiation and analysis of commercial bids
* Participation in recommendations to award
* Ensure that all insurance issues of company assets and personnel are dealt with
* Prepare and maintain an up-to-date list of qualified contractors/suppliers/potential tenders/contracts with updated information in order to perform market studies; analyze and assess all possible answers from the market
* Participate to the validation of the contracts strategy through; arranging and attending Contracts Committee Meetings, pre-qualifying bidders, defining target prices and defining criteria for evaluation
* Create CFT commercial documents
* Prepare and issue the call for tender to contractors and suppliers on the bidders list
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Ideally have a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in a relevant subject
* Extensive experience within Contract Engineering on Oil and Gas Projects
* Experience with Drilling or Logistics contracts will be beneficial |
