|
Electrical Technicians (2-3)
FLNG Project
Africa
Tasks:
* Read and understand project standard and overarching project procedure, including HSSE and Technical Method statment
* Develop or review detailed and specific method statment before work execution
* Assess and ensure electrical competencies are proven before involving any parties in energization or live test.
* Ensure that all live equipment (Cabinet, cables, boards,..) are identified and / or properly isolated from construction systems/ area
* Performed drawing walkdown to mark-up as built
* Support operation of the facility
* If involved in Commissioning phase, assist commissioning team in performing, supervising or witnessing commissioning activities ( Continuity test, Hi-pot test, solo run relay testing, lighting, protection, earthing....)
* Followup preservation program and maintenance program as per CMMS and instruction received from maintenance Supervisor
* Report any non conformity and ensure proper action is taken (focal point assigned, and actions understood)
* Ensure PTW are valid when work is executed (when applicable)
* Maintain log book for by pass, overide and simulated signals, and ensure that they are removed (if not authorised to be kept) before energization and Handover
* Maintain isolation points logs and padlocks, interlocks number and tagging
* Perform Electrical defects correction and toruble shooting to ensure continuous operations
* perform IECEX/ ATEX certifications/ recertifications
* Perform routine and corrective maintenance activities as per the CMMS program
* Perform routine inspection as per the CMMS program
Duties & Responsibilities
* Know the risk associated with the scope and anticipate, mitigate them
* Execute the scope of work in the designated area and scope following approved procedures
* Ensure that the works proceed in conformity with the schedule, and report any deviations to the Electrical supervisor.
* Ensure that any deviations has been recorded and approval by competent parties.
* Ensure that all site records sheets and punch are properly and timely integrated in the CMMS.
* Report daily to the Maintenance Supervisor on the results of the activities performed.
* Ensure that discipline related spares and tools are utilised and maintained during the execution phase.
* Ensure the work is executed in accordance to the project procedure
* Ensure the work is executed with a Valid PTW and that SIMOPS with operation activities are understood and controlled
Must haves
* Practical-minded with excellent organization/ leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Must have previous experience on Onshore or Offshore Oil & Gas Industry in a similar or relevant position and segment.
* Must have a recognised Technical qualification for the Position.
* Have confirmed experiences and knowledge to carryout efficiently and safely operations and Maintenance activities |
