Design Engineer - Centrifugal or Vacuum Pumps
Key Skills: An expert in Centrifugal pump or Vacuum Pump technology and design
Location: Nuremberg
Salary / Package: €Negotiable salary and generous company package

Our specialised products are principally used in medical technology, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries with cooling and tempering appliances and in the plastics industry. Key Responsibilities:
* This role requires someone to lead the design process and help with the manufacturing of new cutting-edge centrifugal/Vacuum pumps from start to finish to drive the business forward and to separate the business from our competitors.
* The perfect candidate will need to know about hydraulic issues and must be able to design hydraulic profiles for that kind of pump as well as a complete range of outer designs.
* You will need to know about applications of clients using that pump.
* This person will need to be able to set up a completely new generation of pump for the business starting from a white sheet of paper and being self-motivated and controlled.
Your Background:
* Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in either Centrifugal or Vacuum Pump Design knowledge.
* We are searching for the complete package engineer who is able to (and excited to) start with zero and come out with a solid product ready to launch on the pump market
* Some specific areas of experience that would be of interest:
* Gear or Piston Pumps
* Material grades and general hydraulic engineering
* Manufacturing process of raw parts to final product
* Industrial motor, electronic / frequency converter or magnetic couplings
