HUC Engineer - Architectural
Aker Solutions' Mariner HUC team based in Okpo, S. Korea are responsible for providing hook-up and commissioning support for the Mariner project. We need experienced engineers who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the HUC marketmarket. We are looking for a HUC Engineer - Architectural
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Delivery of the Mariner Site HUC Engineering within Discipline
On-site Support to Hook-Up and Commissioning Engineering and Work-order production
Preparation of Construction Method Reports
Maintenance and updating of Hook-Up Register
Obtain detailed knowledge of the offshore hook-up scope of work
Prepare input to reporting in accordance with project routines, for assigned scope of work
Ensure that work is performed in accordance with the Project Execution Model, construction method discipline schedule and within construction method discipline budgets
Ensure engineering and installation schedules in accordance with chosen installation method/sequence
Ensure an optimal installation method (OFFSHORE HOOK-UP)
Ensure necessary implementation of installation method in design solutions
Ensure engineering and installation schedules in accordance with chosen installation method/sequence
Qualifications and Personal Qualities:
Min Quals - Apprenticeship in relevant discipline
Preferred - HNC
Good IT skills, including Navisworks, Word, Excel
Offshore survival/MIST and willing to transfer to an offshore rota for the HUC phase
