Aker Solutions' team based in Perth are looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor who can strengthen our team and contribute to the achievement of our HR strategy and objectives.

This is a part-time contract role to cover our current Human Resources Advisor who will be on maternity leave. Candidates must be available to work 3 days per week, with flexible availability.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, Asia Pacific, your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities and Tasks:

    Ensure the HR function aligns with and supports the business strategy and objectives

    Provide outstanding HR generalist support and advice in the key areas of employment relations, performance management, HR metrics and reporting

    Support all aspects of payroll including on-time and accurate monthly processing

    End to end recruitment

    Global Mobility – including arrangement of visas and relocation, ensuring ongoing compliance with immigration requirements

    Lead and support the implementation of HR policies, systems, processes and initiatives across the business.

Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

    Formal HR qualifications

    3-5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role

    Ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation

    Proficient in the use of MS Office

    To be successful in this role you will possess a sound knowledge and understanding of:

    Employment relations and compliance with legislation, in particular Modern Awards and the Fair Work Act 2009

    Payroll processing

    Implementing and driving HR initiatives

    Performance management

    Recruitment – blue/white collar

    Workers Compensation

    Visas and International Assignments

    PREFERRED:

    SAP experience

    Previous experience in the oil & gas industry or resources sector
