|
Airswift are currently looking for a Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive and implement the structured and organised roll out of plans, supporting the cross function team members through the process. The reporting on the progress of CI and Quality improvement through effective communication to team members and managers. Our client is a major producer in the Paper and Pulp industry
Your responsibilities
* Own and manage the Quality KPI's processes and reporting, support raising, managing and closing issues
* Attending meetings with departments to improve business processes and procedures and perform Root Cause Analysis
* Performing audits against internal audit plans on key business activities
* Follow up non-conformances to closure
* Ensuring Lessons Learned workshops are held and utilized on future projects
* Drive Quality focus across the business
* Create effective communication plans driving engagement
* Create business and project quality plans
* Own and deliver quality in our service organisation
* Use LEAN Six Sigma to drive an improvement culture, supporting coaching, training and development of individuals.
* Lead and play supporting role in improvement projects
* Seeks ways to improve and simplify for the customer and our Client
* Manages time/tasks through action plan
* Supports and delivers tasks on team strategy
Your background
* Electrical Engineering Degree or above
* Can drive a Quality culture across business
* Experience within Continuous improvement and quality, delivering process improvement and capturing benefits
* Experience of Root Cause Analysis and 8D
* Can manage tasks and stakeholders simultaneously
* Can analyse data and provide relevant reports
* Ability to interact and challenge team members
* Experience in internal quality auditing
* Highly organised and can clearly prioritise workload ensuring tasks are completed and expectations managed
* Microsoft office suite
* Effective communicator
* Ability to adapt to change and support others
