- Initiative, innovative and customer-oriented in the right way; that is what characterizes you. As a project manager at 'Special Projects' you are responsible for the total preparation process including financial budget until the project enters the implementation phase. One of the challenges is managing the different interests of stakeholders involved in the project, such as the client and internal organization.
- In the preparation phase, as a project manager you are able to translate the wishes of the customers into the possibilities within the project. You answer the client's question in a creative and appropriate manner. In order to do this, you have technical knowledge and a strong communication skills. Ultimately, together with the commercial manager or project developer, you ensure contract formation when completing the preparation process.
- You also supervise the construction / design team and ensure an adequate transfer to the implementation team based on the final design, the technical description and sales items, so that the projects are realized in an efficient and effective manner.
- As a project manager you report to the management team. In the department you work a lot with the organization experts, buyers, cost experts, BIM coordinator and the project leaders. Outside your own department, you work together with colleagues from the commercial units of our Client, with AM and the permanent co-makers. You carry out your work from our Client office in Amsterdam, but you will also be on the road regularly. Special Projects operates nationally, but most projects are located in the core economic area.
