We are now looking for Electrical Commissioning Technicians who can strengthen our team.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
The incumbent must have suitable engineering qualifications with experience in Commissioning of Electrical power systems on major Oil and Gas projects and experience within the field of commissioning.
Reporting to the Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Core Duties will involve Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning of:- 6.6kVac and 400Vac Generation / Distribution, Power Management Systems, UPS, Nav Aids, All Process and Accommodation Drive Motors and Heaters and all lighting and small power
Provide regular communication of system status, schedule issues, quality issues, etc to the Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Participate in bi-party punch list system walk down at system handover, for systems with electrical equipment content
Ensure that Electrical Isolations are applied in accordance with Electrical Isolations standard
Mark Up As-Built Drawings / Documents as defined in project As-Built Procedure
Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

Apprenticeship or level 2 NVQ equivalent in relevant trade discipline is essential
ONC in an engineering discipline or City and Guilds in a related trade or an NVQ level 3 in a related trade is preferred
