Process Engineer - Hydrogen Technologies
Our Client have recently secured new long-term frame agreements with several of the international energy and gas companies, and our new solutions for large scale emission free production of hydrogen from natural gas are being considered for several major projects.
Due to the increasing interest for New Energys patented hydrogen technology and low-carbon solutions, we need to increase our engineering capacity in Norway for further development and detailing of the new technology.
Responsibilities may include:
* Development and testing of new "blue" technology and equipment
* Developing, configuring and optimizing industrial processes from inception through design phases and to start up
* Designing, modification and upgrading of existing systems and processes
* Ensure energy efficient and low-emission solutions
* Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
* Perform process simulations and optimization
* Perform risk assessments
* Provide process documentation and operating instructions
* Selection and recommendation of static and rotational mechanical equipment
* Equipment and piping layout and design
The hydrogen technology will have many applications such as:
* Decarbonization of cities, industries, power generation, transportation and maritime
* Utilization of hydrogen in refineries, ammonia plants and other industries
We are looking for both experienced and younger engineers to be part of the process facilities group. The successful candidates will be able to improve industrial processes in order to drastically reduce emissions, increase efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.
