Our client, an international Oil and Gas Operator are looking for a English and Portuguese speaking Security Coordinator to be based on site in Palma, Mozambique. The role is offered with a 28 Day on / 28 day off rotation, long term contract and 12 month renewable contract.
Job Overview:
As Security Coordinator you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of security operating processes on the Project
Responsibilities:
* Mentoring personnel so that they are fully implementing VPSHR guidelines while at the same time they keep a high operational level to protect Project's operations * Ensuring the Memorandum of Understanding on Security of Petroleum Operations (MoU) is implemented * Being responsible for MoU administration in staging areas with the Joint Task force. * Ensuring the Project/Staging areas and camps are suitably secured. * Monitor the care and support of troops inside the Staging areas in accordance with the framework of the Memorandum of * Understanding (MOU) * Reporting on security situations and the threat escalations where and when necessary.
Experience:
* Ideally have experience gained working within Security in remote locations * Preferably have a military or Police background (Senior NCO) * Have experience working with Military and Police personnel * Fluent in English and Portuguese as a spoken Language
