Aker Solutions' Facilities & Maintenance based in Port Klang, Malaysia is responsible of maintaining the management of maintenance services. We need an experience hands on personnel who's well verse in mechanical field with essential primary knowledge on CNC machine, hydraulic system and machine tool experience is a must and a team player who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the subsea market. We are looking for Sr.Mechanical Technician: Responsibilities and Tasks:
To look after day to day running of essential central services such as new installation and relocation of machineries, preventive and corrective maintenance, shut-down maintenance, day to day troubleshooting, risk analysis and PTW management, lifting equipment inspection, records management, spare parts management, implementation of LEAN To liaise continuously with Team Leader for workplaces and machineries improvement To assist in preparing monthly Maintenance Performance Report To assist in monitor and controlling of all costs attributable To conduct daily tool box meeting and engage in department meeting To ensure all activities implemented and documented according to ISO, OSHA and API requirement To respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise To work on shift rotation if required To demonstrate through example of high commitment and alignment with value of Aker Solutions Vision is to be the preferred partner for all stakeholders, through : HSE Mindset, Customer Drive, Hands-on Management, Delivering Results, Open and Direct Dialogue, People and Teams
Qualifications and Personal Qualities:
Minimum a diploma/degree or professional certificate in mechanical engineering field Minimum 5 years hands on experience managing maintenance related services on CNC machine mechanical parts, gear box, hydraulic system and aligning machine. Machine tool experience is essential Well versed with preventive, corrective, shut-down and condition monitoring industrial maintenance Good knowledge on Microsoft office. Knowledge on SAP and Auto Cad is an advantage Well versed in good HSE practice Ability to lead, acknowledges, develop, communicate & implement strategies in a team environment To maintain the management of maintenance services and processes that supports the core business Participate in the general maintenance of the property to include, plant, machinery, equipment Assist Office Health & Safety Inspection & Compliance Check-list Audit Experience in liaising with Government Bodies for Legislatives Matters and Certification
