Job description
Statoil South Riding Point is an oil storage and transshipment terminal situated in the port of South Riding Point in the Bahamas.
The marine department has the responsibility for all marine activities for the terminal and port area.
Present revitalization of terminal activity and future growth being proposed means that persons in this department will play an intricate role in delivering on our goals of HSE, efficient operations and value to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Berth / unberth vessels up to VLCC size
Onboard HSE / ISPS representative for terminal
Liaise with vessel for safe and efficient cargo operation
Monitor weather and advise on port closure
Vetting of vessels
Assist with marine related activities
Qualifications
Currently active Marine Pilot with an Unlimited Masters license with more than 10 years of experience at oil terminal
Personal qualities
Punctual
Team Player
Able to work independently
Strong communication/interpersonal skills
