Job description

    Purpose of position:
    All operational aspects concerning physical gas trades
    Responsibilities and Duties:
    Pull morning operational updates from the pipeline websites
    Plan daily gas flow during morning trading activity Exchange daily nomination data with suppliers and markets
    Communicate gas flows to the interstate pipelines within nomination deadline cycles
    Monitor and resolve daily nomination cuts
    Capture daily nomination activity in operations system
    Weekend on-call duty rotation
    Build and maintain relationships with external counterparties
    Develop an awareness of the Statoil production assets and how they impact the scheduling function
    Maintain volume imbalances within tolerance of production assets
    Develop operational competency on all pertinent pipeline systems

Qualifications

    Equivalent Education Level:
    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
    Job Knowledge Requirements and Most Critical Job Skills:
    5 or more years relevant gas scheduling experience is preferred
    Strong analytical and evaluation skills
    Familiarity with onshore gas gathering infrastructure & transportation
