Position Summary
The Engineering Analyst will perform necessary analytical / FE calculations to verify preliminary & final designs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Accumulate & study all information related to product being worked upon, understand requirements for deliverable design/analysis Undertake analytical / FE calculation projects from start to completion Prepare Functional Design Specifications for various subsea applications Review design specification, load test specifications Create Design Verification Report for review by client or certifying agency, and assist the design approval process by answering technical queries / questions Review the analysis, calculations & reports created by the peers Documents the project related information Checks the design for compliance with the relevant industry codes and with the client design specifications Monitor changes in the requirements, update the analysis and reports accordingly Monitor the changes in the requirements and update the product life cycle/process Taking up process champion’s role for work related processes Prepare analysis process documents, review process documents created by peers Prepare standard calculation templates based on industry standards & codes, review templates created by peers Participate in regular teleconference meetings with Engineering counterparts in US and other locations Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems
Qualifications
Required: Minimum Qualification: Post Graduation (Master degree) in Mechanical Engineering And, Minimum 2 years of practical engineering experience in Design Validation, FE Analysis etc.
Desired: Familiarity with ASME, ASTM, DNV, SAE, API, Machinery Handbook highly desirable

Computer Skills
Proficient knowledge of ANSYS Mechanical / Workbench software Working knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD software Working knowledge of Enovia or other Product Data Management (PDM) System and ERP system is preferred Has very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Knows a planning & monitoring tool (e.g.; Microsoft Project, Primavera)
