Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out AUT qualification and validation processes, utilising Olympus PipeWizard AUT/ToFD systems, as and when required including analysis and reporting. Ensure that all global regions’ client’s technical and administrative requirements are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner, reporting to regional management through AUT/PAUT Manager. To include but not be limited to, procedure writing, calibration block design and AUT set ups. Develop technical AUT solutions and advancements to include but not be limited to, CRA/Clad solution and partial pen weld testing. Assist the AUT/PAUT Manager to ensure AUT system maintenance, repair, calibrations and upgrades are suitably carried out. Assist the AUT/PAUT Manager to ensure AUT systems are suitable for use on relevant pipeline projects and ensure readiness for despatch to projects in full working order. To include upgrades, repairs, calibrations and replacements. Assist the AUT/PAUT Manager to maintain records of work carried out to AUT systems and current locations. Write and maintain training material for AUT positions. Ensure issuance and filing of AUT qualifications and competence certification. Carry out training and examination of individuals in accordance with the agreed training material. Carry out AUT audits where required by regional management. Make site visits as required by regional management to support the projects. Supervise Projects if required by Management. Supervise the writing and presentation of final reports on completion of projects if required. Provide technical back up to AUT projects at any locations globally. Assist with any other duties as and when required. Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
E = Essential, P = Preferred
5 years experience with automated ultrasonic systems (E)
Experience with other ultrasonic techniques (EMAT/ECA/Etc) (E)
Experience with offshore laybarges, onshore pipeline AUT/NDT (E)
Be familiar with QA systems at work (P)
PCN or equivalent qualified in UT at Level 3 (E)
CSWIP or equivalent qualified in AUT and/or PA/ToFD at Level 2 minimum (E)
