Fugro Geospatial, Inc. is in search of a highly motivated, determined, and experienced staff to help lead the effort in North America to market and implement Fugro’s Roames service – the company’s unique asset management solution for the power utility industry.
Roames provides innovation through its remote sensing techniques and cloud computing capabilities to deliver a complete and accurate 3-D virtual model of critical power assets. Through understanding of the evolving asset context, managers can tune their capital and maintenance programs and operational incident response to reduce operational risks and costs, while improving customer services. A globally demonstrated solution for both vegetation and asset management across all electrical voltages, Fugro Roames is an innovative platform that allows utilities to understand their network-wide asset condition on an annual basis. As a Business Development Manager, your role will be to:
Be responsible for development of business within the power market and related industries; Identify new business opportunities and delivering significant new work consistent with the company’s strategic objectives through both individual and team efforts; Implement significant new work consistent with Fugro’s strategic objectives; Lead the proposal development and assist with project estimates; Project management
Requirements
This challenging position will require a diverse set of skills:
Proven track record in the power industry; Knowledge of industry operations including maintenance and inspection activities; Degree/diploma or equivalent experience in engineering, remote sensing, or business development; Strong business acumen, client-service, and results orientation; History of building positive relationships internally and externally; Ability to work in a highly independent environment; Exceptional communication skills particularly with those at executive levels; Willing to travel as needed, including international locations; Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
