JOB DESCRIPTION
Basic Function:
Execute LWD field services role in the drilling and logging of offshore and onshore wells.
Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Adhere to Safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system, Including:
Active participation and contribution to specific safety initiatives in meetings. Report all hazardous and unsafe acts. Actively promote positive safety culture.
Adhere to quality procedure and policies in accordance with the ISO9002 (where applicable) quality assurance system, Including:
Compliance to work instructions. Raising corrective actions for all non-conformances. Identifying areas requiring improvement and / or audit.
Adhere to main job responsibilities:
Responsible for the operation of the LWD field surface software Responsible for the rig up and rig down of equipment. Responsible for operation and configuration of down hole LWD tools Responsible for ensuring that operational specifications (limits) of the down hole LWD tools are not exceeded Responsible for quality of field reports. Responsible for the data quality provided to customer. Participate in field incident root cause analysis. Take rotations in office to Coordinate (Coordinator OJT). Responsible for supervising, mentoring and on the job training of Trainee (LWD I), Junior (LWD II) and Lead (LWD III) field engineers. Attends client meetings as required by management team. Complete Senior LWD project as assigned. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.

Required Education:
Essential
Bachelor’s degree or Experience in relevant service line within Weatherford
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Earth Sciences
Required Skills:
Essential
Competent with Microsoft Office Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline and motivation Relevant industry experience. Requires competency assessment upon hire to evaluate level of knowledge. Must be available to travel extensively domestically and internationally. Work on and offshore. Has demonstrated extensive troubleshooting skills in field environment Be able to work in the office as coordinator as required
Preferred
Completed the qualifications of Weatherford - Level 4 - Drilling Services - LWD as per the Drilling Services competency program. Basic knowledge of Drilling systems, products and services
Required Experience:
Essential
5 year technical degree or relevant industry experience.

Basic knowledge of Drilling systems, products and services
