JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Scope: Operates & maintains all Completion Services equipment & evaluates the performance of the various procedures involved with the supply of all Completion Services to specified customer requirements.
Basic Function:
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford
Operates & maintains all items of equipment at both Weatherford premises & various client locations, offshore, onshore & other regions when necessary.
Involved in the daily operations at the rig-site. This includes Filtration Projects and Brine/Mud Mixing Operations.
Work closely with the Filtration Supervisor whilst on location to actively contribute to their own knowledge base
Able to assist in the cross-training of personnel during the operation as well as in the mechanical aspects of filtration.
Attends all pre-job & post-job briefs with the required personnel, to safeguard that the duties were performed correctly, responsibilities were understood & documentation is completed correctly.
Collates required paperwork & presents to the Filtration Supervisor..
Providing input to the Operations Supervisor on inventory control & maintaining sufficient stock levels (i.e. min/max levels)
Inputting on & assisting in implementing safety policies of Weatherford, & its customer’s policies.
Assists in the general maintenance of all items of equipment to ensure equipment is fully operational at all times when at the rig-site & the Weatherford base.
Actively contributes to the day to day running of the warehouse when not on field location (i.e. housekeeping, maintenance etc.) .
Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within physical constraints of the job.
Required Skills:
Strong computer skills and a very Good understanding of filtration, down-hole clean up tools, and hydraulics is a plus
Very Strong organization and communication skills
Must be able to present themselves as a technical filtration expert to clients
Must be able to work closely with DWM, Completions, Wellbore Clean-up, Rental and Drilling Fluid product lines
Must have a general knowledge on various completion methods (i.e. Cased-Hole/Open-Hole completions)
Formal drilling fluid training (mud school) a plus
Fluency in English required.
Required Experience: Requires a minimum 2 years Filtration experience & supervisory experience is a plus
Required Education: No specific Education required but knowledge of drilling/completion operations a must
