JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

The Procurement and Sourcing Manager position in our company is required, as we recognize the expertise that is needed does not exist within our company.  The person would be responsible for the execution of the Procurement and Sourcing strategy within a Region of our Company. 

The position will report to the Director of Finance and Supply Chain, and functionally to the Global VP of Supply Chain.

Main Responsibilities

    Lead & support Supply Chain activities within the Region
    Oversee the procurement and sourcing of specific spend within a Region, from the understanding of the need, issuance of a “Request for Proposal” to suppliers, selection of the supplier and order fulfillment
    Will lead the issuance of Request for Proposals and negotiations with lead suppliers within the Region
    Responsible for vendors in the Region, including negotiating with single/sole-sourced vendors
    Improved processes within the Procurement to Payment cycle
    Streamline supply chain and ERP processes.
    Ensure alignment with strategic partners, and internal stakeholders.
    Ensure supply continuity including from safety equipment to services to catering.
    Lead Supply chain personnel within the Region working in Procurement, Logistics, Customs, and Warehouse capacities.
    Reduced vendor cycle time through implementing KPIs and SMART goals, improved vendor communication, training, and leading lean initiatives in vendors’ facilities.
    Lead inventory strategies (internal & w/ vendors) to use of optimized working capital and revenue protection.
    Support several Global initiatives and drive execution.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement and Sourcing, or related field.
    Minimum of 10+ years of related experience in procurement operations and systems with knowledge in accounting, finance, and supply chain management.
    Expert understanding of procurement strategic sourcing and how to direct the requisition to check process and experience analyzing existing processes, in order to implement improvements.

     Preferred * MBA degree
    * Professional purchasing certification such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Professional Public Buyer/Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPB/CPPO)
