JOB DESCRIPTION
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand and adhere to all safety regulations and applicable Weatherford Policies.
Full adherence in every operation to WFT CEMENTING Standard Operating Procedures
Executes successful jobs according to design and client specifications. Runs all Cementing equipment and performs job calculations on location.
Perform duties according to the documented Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Place Instructions.
Ensure full adherence to risk assessments in the operations
Ensure correct and accurate completion of all required paperwork after each job and get them signed by the company man. Hand to CEMENTING Operations Supervisor for his review prior converting to invoicing submitted to Company.
Make CEMENTING jobs procedure recommendations to enhance daily labour and material efficiency.
Accurate and appropriate control of Cementing additives and reporting to CEMENTING Operations Supervisor any usage, damages or stock on the rig or rig less locations accordingly.
Participate in presenting monthly performance reports as requested by CEMENTING Operations Supervisor
Ensure all reports ( service reports) & mainly invoices done and signed by the customer in a timely manner
Full understanding to WFT CEMENTING simulation software inputs, outputs and print outs done before and after every job
Maintain quality control of well site technical applications while providing technical support to clients and crews.
Provide mentoring, direction and training for subordinates to ensure the responsibility of each position is defined and understood.
Understand the pre-job design thru working closely with the Operations Supervisor
Participate in the Laboratory activity.
Provide sales support as needed.
Interact with customers in a positive manner.
Communicate details and directions in a clear and coherent manner.
Ensure all invoices are done correctly as per contractual terms and conditions to avoid any payments delays from customer.
Ensure accurate chemicals and additives inventory as per the system and the monthly chemicals usage are affected accordingly in the system ( removed from JDE records and converted into revenues )
Assists Cementing Operations Supervisor in preparing performance evaluations for assigned personnel.
Ensures that people, equipment, and materials arrive on location in a timely manner as required by the client.
Initiates disciplinary action when necessary, on location with crew or assigned personnel, within Field Service guidelines.
Maintains and repairs product line equipment as needed. Also help maintenance team during any major preventative maintenance programs for all CEMENTING equipment
PERFORM VARIOUS OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED BY CEMENTING OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
WITHIN THE PHYSICAL CONSTRAINTS OF THE JOB.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Essential ?
Competent in operating all CEMENTING equipment stand alone.
Thorough knowledge of Wellbore Mechanics hydraulic and CEMENTING calculations
Work effectively under pressure.
English language knowledge
Computer skills required.
Preferred ?
Some electric/mechanic/hydraulic knowledge.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
Minimum of 5-10 years CEMENTING experience – standalone service
supervisor - in a Service Company or Oilfield Operating Company.
Work flexible schedule, including long and/or irregular hours.
Valid Driver’s License.
High school diploma or GED plus Associate degree in Physical
Sciences, or equivalent Company experience preferred.
ANY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Essential
*Satisfactory driving record. Guidelines listed in Driver Qualification Policy HRD-12.
Preferred
Carry heavy duty driving license.
