Petrofac is recruiting a Marine Cargo Operator on a permanent basis for the EnQuest Producer FPSO
EnQuest is a leading independent oil and gas development and production company, focused on turning opportunities into value by targeting maturing assets and undeveloped oil fields. They are the largest UK independent oil producer in the UK North Sea and their assets include producing oil fields and major new developments.
The Role:
We are seeking to recruit a Marine Cargo Operator for the EnQuest Producer on a permanent basis working on a 3/3 rota. The Marine Cargo Operator will ensure that Marine systems are maintained and all safety critical devices and systems are operable.
Specific duties include:
assisting in the 1st line maintenance of marine equipment
providing heli-deck support for passenger control and refuelling
liaising with the MCO (Marine & Service Supervisor) with regard to marine operations, Loading, ballasting, IG, Diesel, sounding requirements etc…
carrying out safety checks: Including checking for leaks, bilge levels, safety equipment, etc. Report to MCO as dictated by the entry procedure
assisting in isolation of marine systems as required
assisting in crude oil washing operation’s: System Line-ups including removal/replacement of LO/LC Isolations
The ideal Marine Cargo Operator should have Tanker and/or FPSO experience in a similar role. Applicants should also have STC Class 1 and OOW Deck Unlimited Certificate of Competence STCW 95. Stability certification would be advantageous but not mandatory.
