Petrofac is recruiting an Instrument Commissioning Technician on a contract basis, commencing on the 26th August 2016.
The Role:
We are currently seeking to recruit an Instrument Commissioning Technician to start ASAP for up to four offshore trips.
Specific duties include:
• Act as a technical focal point for instrument commissioning on the project
• Be a focal point for all Technical / Engineering Queries and review Concessions raised by Contractors, following Company and Project Procedures
• Ensure all interfaces to other disciplines are clearly defined and correctly engineered
• Serve as technical specialist in all matters relating to commissioning completion and start-up of all instrumented systems and equipment
• Support development of project specifications, procedures and quality plans
The ideal candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship or training scheme and a minimum City & Guilds or equivalent, with an ONC or equivalent NVQ Level 3. The candidate must also have a valid Compex certificate and SBT 01/02. Experience in an offshore environment with commissioning activities is essential.
