QC Inspector

EMPLOYMENT STATUS
Full Time Regular, 37.5 hours per week
POSITION SYNOPSIS
This position will work with a variety of vendors and clients on the inspection of parts and products to ensure adherence to quality standards. Qualified candidates will work with a variety of industry tools and process to ensure quality parts are being delivered to engineering specification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for performing all quality inspections for incoming materials and verifying
Specialized testing results
May provide direction and training to less senior inspectors / vendors
Responsible for non-conformance reports and assures that manufactured units meet quality specifications, procedures and customer requirements
Completes, audits and distributes all quality records and documents.
Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in machining or quality inspection of some type.
Proficient in the interpretation of Engineering drawing and customer requirements and specifications.
Strong communication skills
Willing to do over time when needed
Work well under pressure and keep integrity high for customer satisfaction
Ability to read and use inspection tooling and equipment
Computer literate (Word, Excel)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
SAP experience
Prior oilfield experience
ISO training
Quality auditing experience
Technical degree and/or training
Salary: Competitive
