KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Main point of contact for Fishing, Whipstock, and Pipe Recovery (Cut & Pull) operations in the Permian Area Responsible for job planning and contingency fishing operations, which includes advising on appropriate applications in accordance with customer requirements Support all Wellbore Intervention operations Provides technical guidance and work direction to operations personnel and advice regarding equipment problems, equipment condition, equipment specifications and equipment limitations Prepares daily and post-job reports to detail Wellbore Intervention activities, costs, and other requirements as required by the customer. Ensures that critical information is communicated to appropriate manager or other staff. Works independently under general supervision, requiring normal guidance and review Works well within a team environment, and is able to communicate effectively and share tasks with other members of the team
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
7 years of relevant experience, supporting a full range of fishing, Whipstock, and pipe recovery (Cut & Pull) operations Wellbore Intervention experience, which includes open hole, Whipstocks and cased hole fishing Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, while accomplishing self-motivated tasks Ability to use software packages, including programs to generate fishing drawings, job procedures, job tickets, and fishing programs
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with slot recovery/reclamation projects is an asset Strong communication skills – this is a client-facing role and would involve time spent directly in the clients’ offices
