ABOUT THIS JOB
The Well Planner position will provide support in the area of well planning, well plan creation & design for Drilling Services in Oman
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
Under general supervision, plans or re-plans wells as required.
Generates 3-D plots and validate surveys on current wells.
Prepares well design as per-client direction
Communicating with client in regards to well plan design
Prepares reports and surveys.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Engineering / Geology / Petroleum etc
1- 3 year’s relevant experience in Drilling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION / REQUIREMENT
Knowledge of directional drilling, horizontal drilling and well bore positioning survey.
Advanced PC skills.
Quick adapt to in house design software
Completion of technical development plan; specific skill requirements defined within the Well Engineering development Program - achieve Well Planning qualification.
Good Communication Skills
Good in Calculation
Motivated at all time
