ROLE SYNOPSIS
 
This position is a critical member of the Baker Hughes sales and operations team and is responsible for safely and efficiently executing the tasks needed to maintain and optimize the Baker Hughes service programs at our customer’s facility in Robinson, IL as well as supporting other accounts in the area as needed. The individual works in the field and in the lab to complete assigned task as well as collaboratively with customers and co-workers alike to solve problems in a safe and efficient manner.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Ability to resolve complex problems and communicate when additional resources are needed to create a solution
    Work with pumps, generators, hoses, and fittings
    Chemical transferring & deliveries
    Collection of samples
    Laboratory testing to ensure conformance to key chemical treatment parameters
    Documentation, submittal and communication of lab results
    Chemical tank inventories
    Chemical injection system monitoring and minor repair
    Performing other duties as needed

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or other Science Degree
    3 years of industry experience
    Strong mechanical aptitude
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Commitment to customer service and ability to work in team-oriented environment
    Must be able to successfully pass Drug & Alcohol Testing Regulations
    Clean Driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

    Chemical, refinery or industrial plant experience
    Laboratory experience
    Knowledge of how to perform additive injections
    Experience handling hazardous materials
    Experience working with pumps, generators, hoses and fittings
    2+ years’ experience in a lab environment OR Industrial site

OTHER DETAILS

    Company car or car allowance provided.
    Travel to other customer sites may be required
    May be required to be on call and travel to the facility after hours and weekends if urgency arise
    Successful candidate will be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
