|
Our client, an international Oil and Gas Operator have a new requirement for a Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist - Security to be based in Sunbury. The position is offered with a long term contract and a negotiable daily rate.
Job Overview:
As a PSCM Category Specialist you'll support and be a single point of contact for the Project Security Department based in Iraq.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the strategic sourcing of complex Security Services, within the market sector
* Allocation of material requirements to Operational Procurement Team
* Apply Project Category Management processes and tools across assigned market sector
* Management of business critical, high profile Security Product contract
* Prepare commercial evaluation model, bid evaluation plan and schedule of rates and charges
* Manage all elements of the tender including supplier clarification and tender evaluation
* Prepare Recommendation for Award for approval by relevant governing body and implement resulting contract
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* University degree or equivalent
* MCIPS (or working towards) or equivalent professional PSCM qualification
* Track record of successful PSCM delivery in a complex and challenging environment, ideally within the Oil and Gas industry. |
