Our client, an international Civil Infrastructure Contractor are looking for a Purchasing Engineer to be based on their Construction site in South Belgium. The position is offered with a 9 month contract and negotiable daily rate.
Job Overview:
As Purchasing Specialist you'll be responsible for purchasing management of Civil Infrastructure on a New Build Facility.
Responsibilities:
* Launch RFIs, process, analyze and present information
* Ensures that purchase requisitions and orders are accurate, approved and released in a timely manner and in accordance with project schedule
* Contract negotiation and Contract Award
* Acts as direct procurement contact
* Manage the drafting of pre-consultation and tender documents for the central needs
* Support Supplier Continuous Improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Ideally a degree in a related subject.
* Purchasing experience gained within the Civil Engineering industry
* Experience in Contract Negotiation and Award |
